"K12 Educational Technology System Total Cost of Ownership Calculator," is a spreadsheet developed to help school districts estimate what it will cost to install and operate a total technology system, and includes building related and personnel and professional training related costs. This calculator focuses on a school’s five year technology plan and uses some basic assumptions to estimate costs. It was developed by the Integrated Technology Education Group, LLC, for the The Institute for the Advancement of Emerging Technologies in Education (IAETE) at AEL. It is available at www.iaete.org/tco

Details of the Milken Exchange's survey of technology directors in 27 states is available at www.mff.org/edtech/publication.taf?_function=detail&Content_uidl=277.
